 Cirebon is a port city on the northern coast of the Indonesian island of Java. It is the only coastal city of West Java. It had a population of 322,322 as of mid-2020.

The official metropolitan area encompasses this regency as well as the city, and covers an area of 1,021.88 km2 (394.55 sq mi), the latest official estimate in terms of the metropolitan area (as of mid-2020) is 2,531,955.
